PUBLIC SPEAKING COACH

I can help you improve your skills as a public speaker, based on my experience as a public speaker and public speech-writer. Together we will work on your business presentation, sales pitch, job interview, media performance or other public speaking events. Through practical and personal feedback, a variety of techniques, tips and tricks I will help you boost your presentation, self-confidence and communication skills. During the coaching we will upgrade the structure of your story. If necessary, we will work on issues regarding stage fright and stress. Together we will transform your performance.

My experience includes working directly with CEOs, management teams, entrepreneurs, teachers, doctors, politicians in the Netherlands and abroad for companies such as: ABN AMRO, Achmea, Ahold, Alliance, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Belastingdienst, Belfius Bank, DSM, Eisma Bouwmedia, Government of The Netherlands, ING, Massive Music, Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, Procter & Gamble, Rabobank, REAAL, Robin Radar Systems, Sanofi, The Council of Amsterdam, University Medical Center Utrecht, University of Amsterdam.

I have been a TEDx coach and speech writer in the Netherlands and abroad for several years.

Training

PUBLIC SPEAKER

As a radio and television presenter and as a public speaker I want to affect and inspire an audience. I presented the television programme ‘Wist je dat?’ (RTL 4) and the podcast Boekschrijven.nl.

I give interactive lectures about my novel Een zee van glas and dealing with loss, grief and change more generally.

From companies such as ABN AMRO, The City Council of Amsterdam, ING, Obvion and University Medical Center Utrecht I regularly receive requests to moderate as a public speaker, chairperson and interviewer for seminars, webinars and online videos.

ACTRESS

I co-starred with Rutger Hauer in the short film Cuba Libre, directed by Lech Majewski. I also played the leads in the feature film Second Honeymoon and Exposure, both of which were shown at international film festivals. I also featured in Symphonic Cinema productions.

For Dutch television I played the lead in Pauwen & Reigers and I had several different characters in the series: Vrijland, KLEM, De Zaak Menten, De Ludwigs, GTST and Flikken Maastricht. I was cast as Josephine in the internationally acclaimed production Hunter Street. 

I attended London Drama School LAMDA, Rutger Hauer Film Factory, Theatre School De Trap in Amsterdam. I also have a Master Degree in Dutch Literature.

My voice-over work includes television and radio commercials, company films, documentaries, e-learning, television shows, animation films, audio tours and audio books. Since the beginning of my career I have worked with major Dutch and international brands and production companies, but I am also happy to use my own recording equipment.
